ANVIL (Canada):
One of Canada's longest-running metal bands, Anvil was on top of the metal world in the early eighties, with albums such as "Metal On Metal" and "Forged In Fire" regarded as power metal classics and gaining critical acclaim as well as fan interest. Though their worldwide popularity isn't quite what it used to be, they have persevered though several lineup changes and continue to release 80's-styled power metal albums. In 2009 the band found new life from an unexpected source, that being the documentary film The Story Of Anvil, which became a huge hit even beyond metal circles. This show is exclusive for such a small venue as Little Devil and also the only show in The Netherlands this tour!!
SCENE X DREAM (Germany):
Scene X Dream was founded in April 1989, by STEFAN FLEISCHER and ANDY LORZ, resulting from a former Band named WALLOP witch had been successful even outside German borders.
Soon the Band found the exceptional singer ANDI SOMMER, still known by his unmistakable voice. After SCENE X DREAM toured with BLIND GUARDIAN and GRAVE DIGGER the Band got the chance to support ANVIL and TITAN FORCE on their POWER METAL GODS TOUR witch took the Band through half Europe in early 1993. In 1999 SCENE X DREAM decided to have a break in order to cast different projects. ate 2010 SCENE X DREAM got back together and found MARTIN WINTER as new Drummer in 2011. 2012 the Band wrote new Songs and recorded the IDENTITY Maxi-CD in their WHITE ROOMS STUDIOS witch is for PROMOTION ONLY for their planned Album IDENTITY.

M:PIRE OF EVIL (UK, ex-VENOM):
You now hold the key to the eighth gate. Beware within – for it's your fate!' In 1979 a dark formation occurred, a black ripple that would soon become a wave: one which made a huge impact on the metal world. Taking the name of MANTAS, the legendary guitarist Jeff Dunn formed an outfit that rivalled the stage shows of bands such as Kiss and challenged the occult themes that Black Sabbath had pione...ered. He took the knife edge that had made Judas Priest dangerous and the volume that had made Motörhead so intense, and rolled it into a big, black dirtball called VENOM.
With renewed hunger and inspiration, Mantas joined up with the Demolition Man, bassist/vocalist Tony Dolan, in 1988. The duo penned Prime Evil, an album hailed as a return to form with its cleaner sound and the mighty vocal attack of Dolan. In 2012 JXN (Marc Jackson) joined the MPIRE on drums! The trio decided that they needed to produce something befitting of their musical prowess. Something unashamedly heavy and without restraint; free of ego, deception and unreasonable behaviour – and fulfilling for them as musicians. The band's die-hard fans were left to chose a name for the new group, as it was they who had pushed for the new group to form. Naturally, in hindsight, Prime Evil was the name they chose – and so the band were free to make the music that they had always wanted to make, without pretending that it was 1982 all over again. After announcing themselves to the world the band were asked to reconsider the chosen name out of respect for another act who had named themselves after the self same Venom album title. Without hesitation and with understanding and the respect to be expected by this honorable trio, they changed their name…….and so to the future…….This is M-PIRE of EVIL. This is Mantas, JXN and the Demolition Man. This is 2014 Hell is coming to the holy.
REBELSTAR (NL):
Looking at the promo pictures of Rebelstar, there is no denying that Rebelstar contains of 4 individual characters. But........with 1 thing in common and that is to Rock Very Hard in this age of disposable Popstars.
Started out as a collaboration of Martijn and Serge, it was very clear from the beginning on that there was no turning back from the path they chose as their musical direction: Old Skool Hardrock with the influence of todays Rock and Metal, Heavy Riffs with catchy, very strong and melodic high pitched vocals. And with a very tight rhythm section concisting of John Aponno on Bass and Harry Kramer on Drums it was clear that they're dealing with a new living and breathing Rock 'n Roll machine!
Unfortunately Bassplayer John lately decided to pursue other musical adventures. However, fortunately, another great bassplayer has stepped in. None other than Toine Vanderlinden (MARTYR) has joined our ranks. Whereas some bands wish to stay underground, Rebelstar sees it as their ultimate goal to bring Hard Rock back to the masses, ready to chant our songs at Stadium level.
So....all aboard and start reaving some havoc! The band will be recording their new, 3th, album soon! It's time for REBELSTAR!
SAD IRON (NL):
Sad Iron is back and will play at Mario's Metal Meeting 9! Rooted deep in the 1980's, Sad Iron was founded in Hoorn and reunited in 2012 at the Heavy Metal Maniacs festival. The fans couldn't get enough, so the band decided to continu doing live shows! Sad Iron released two albums of Pure Heavy Metal: “Total Damnation”- 1984 and “The Antichrist” 1985...MMM is very proud to have this cultband finally on the bill!!
RAZEND (NL):
After Outburst stopped in 2012 , Jos, Arvid, Tijn and Serge decided to move on and formed RAZEND. A new start with fresh , different material and a few months later Corinne ( Acrostichon ) joined them to take care of the vocals . in 2013 Tim ( Fuelblooded ) replaced Serge and RAZEND was complete. In the summer of 2013 they recorded a 5 track demo called White Goat that is available for promotors . RAZEND is recording their second album right now that will be available in a few months. RAZEND plays thrash metal, with a twist.
SILENXCE (NL):
In the early eighties a new thrash-metal band entered the Dutch metal-scene. Originally founded by three school friends and later completed with a singer and second guitar player the band called itself INFERNO.
After several years of rehearsing they recorded their first demo-tape "Terror Strike" in 1986. Having recorded that tape the band got its first gig in a local youth centre. More gigs followed and the music evolved to a higher level, which led to better songs, so Inferno planned to record a new demo-tape. During that time a German punk band also called Inferno wanted them to change their name, so the band name was changed into SILENXCE, after a song of the new demo. In 1987 "Infernal Ending" was recorded and with that tape Silenxce became very popular in the metal-scene. Several gigs followed all around Holland and also in Belgium, and they played with some well-known bands such as Thanatos, Mandator, L.W.S., Sodom, The Hard-Ons, and many others. In 1990 they gave it another try with a two-track demo "Say What?!!", but by then the band began to fall apart. First Aart-Jan left the band and Silenxce became a four piece band. They played a few gigs and even tried to look for a new guitar player, but the spirit was gone and Silenxce died a slow death...
And then in 2002 the former members were contacted by a Portuguese record company with the question to release the demo-tapes on cd. Surprised by this offer they gladly accepted, and finally in june 2003 the cd was released. All the songs were remastered by Mike Hall at the Remasters Studios in Iowa - USA. NOW the band is back together again for a few reunion gigs so grab this chance!!
THUIG (NL):
Thuig is a local crossover thrash band. They dont exist that long but with their humor they will satisfy a lot of people! Check them out and you will not regret it! Influences:

MMM Presents a night of oldschool metal!!
28 September August 2014 @ Little Devil, Tilburg, The Netherlands
KILLER (Belgium):
Was founded in 1980 by Paul “ Shorty” Van Camp (lead guitar + lead vocals) and “Fat Leo” (drums) who had just splitted up their previous band “Mothers of Track”.
After a few auditions “Spooky” (bassguitar + lead vocals) joined the band. They decided to stay a powertrio and started working on the songs.
“Killer” was the first Belgian metalband inspired by upcoming success of the NWOBHM bands such as Saxon, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard etc.
Due to the trio formula, the rough voices, speedy uptempos, and double bassdrums, Killer was always compared with “Motorhead”. This was rather an honour than an insult.
Killer and Motorhead were speedy bands long before the existing of “Metallica”, so in a way we were innovators in the early eighties. Check these guys out!
VORTEX (NL):
In the late seventies, the hard rock and heavy metal scene in Holland slowly starts to take shape. Most bands are copying the sound of the godfathers Purple, Sabbath, Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. The most succesful bands from our country are Picture, Bodine, Vengeance, Vandale and Vandenberg. The band with the highest CULT level though can be found in the upper north of Groningen. We are talking about Vortex here, founded in 1979. Quick mathematics will tell you, that it is time for a celebration now, because it's 35 years ago, since the six 'hammers of the north' came together. This band is not playing that much in the South of The Netherlands so grab this chance to check them out! You wont regret it!!!
WIZARD (Germany);
Wizard is one of the best German power metal bands, formed in 1989 by the drummer Sören "Snoppi" van Heek. The band was often called "Germany's answer to Manowar". On some albums the lyrics are about battles, metal, war and steel. There singer Sven D'Anna is one of MMM's favorite powermetal singers. Wizard already played at Wacken Open Air 2002, Bang Your Head!!! 2002, Keep It True 2004, Dokk'em Open Air 2006, Magic Circle Festival 2009 and is in the 2012 line-up of Hammerfest IV.

MMM Presents an evening of Thrash!:
7 August 2014 @ Little Devil, Tilburg, The Netherlands
TOXIK (USA):
Toxik is an American thrash metal band originally from Peekskill, New York. Initially active from 1985 to 1992, in 2013 it was announced that Toxik would reform again and start work on its third album.
Toxik formed in 1985 and released two full-length albums, World Circus and Think This, under RoadRacer (Roadrunner) records. Both records were cult, underground successes (especially in Europe) that would establish Toxik’s longtime fan base for many years to come. During their career, the band completed several successful tours including a performance at the prestigious Dynamo Open Air in Eindhoven, Holland in 1988. This performance was released on DVD for the first time ever in 2007, along with re-issues of World Circus and Think This. In 2010 the band once again self-released another live DVD, Think Again, which contained never before seen live footage, interviews, and more.
2013 brought the announcement that Toxik would once again try to reform to release a new record. The band had tried past reunions but could never find the right drummer. Original drummer Tad Leger had moved away from playing thrash metal and was very comfortable playing “less technical” music in his band Blood Farmers, as well as playing guitar in his band Lucertola (also produced by Christian). Oddly enough, as luck would have it, Leger would go on “hand pick” his successor in longtime friend, Shadows Fall drummer Jason Bittner. Bittner, a longtime Toxik fan says, “ I met Tad at a Death Angel show back in 1990 and we’ve been friends ever since. From the moment I saw Toxik live in 1989 I was floored, and they immediately became one of my favorite metal bands of all time. I hung out with Tad a lot over the years that passed, our bands did a lot of show trading with each other, and I even took a few lessons with Tad way back in the day. For me it’s nice to preserve my friend’s legacy, as well as the band’s, and it’s great for me to be involved in this project.”
After the addition of Bittner, the band needed to round out its rhythm section, and it did that in mid – 2013 with the addition of Bill Bodily (also of Freya) on bass. Bill is a great player with exceptional skills, and has fit into the Toxik framework perfectly.
As we begin 2014 Toxik is currently starting the mixing stage of their third and newest album “In Humanity.” This album will encompass everything Toxik is known for, as well as some surprises.
Well, here they are! After some great shows at the Keep it True festival and Dynamo they now are playing at our own Little Devil club! This is going to be one of the highlights of 2014!! Come over and join the World Circus before you get a Heart Attack!!!
RAZEND (NL):
This band is named as the new metal sensation from The Netherlands with members of Acrostichon and Outburst. After Acrostichon split up the remaining members formed Outburst and now a new band arose from the ashes from those two bands .
This is a very small bio but it contains nearly all the information. Acrostichon used to be a female fronted deathmetal band in which singer Corinne was wellknown for her incredible grunts. After she left Acrostichon the band changed their name into Outburst and went on with singer Tjerk Maas. Outburst was in my opinion a mediocre thrashband that never reached the level of Acrostichon. Well both bands are history and some of the bandmember joined in the newborn thrashmetal band RAZEND (Razend is a Dutch word for Furious). Singer Corinne, who used to grunt in Acrostichon, has had a lot of singing lessons and instead of her famous grunts….she now sings clean!! What a surprise!!. Well her “new” voice fits perfect to the thrashmusic of Razend. Her brother Jos van den Brand and Arvid Kuipers are a great guitar tandem and all together with drummer Tim Verheijden and bassplayer Tijn van der Vloet they create a very nice piece of thrashmetal!! Check them out this evening!!

Mario's Metal Mania Presents a night of REAL Power Metal!
18 July 2014 @ Little Devil, Tilburg, The Netherlands
CAGE (USA):
Formed in San Diego in 1992, Cage unabashedly play classic 80's American power metal. An album was recorded in 1995 but never released, thus it wasn't until 1998 that Unveiled found its way into the public eye, followed up by the concept album Astrology in 2000 and Darker Than Black in 2003. Cage's style is solidly in the Metal Church / Jag Panzer camp, featuring crunchy guitar work and excellent vocals courtesy of Sean Peck. Not surprisingly, Cage is currently more popular in Europe than in their home country, but that might change someday. Old metal purists will definitely get into this band. Check this superb band out! One of MMM's favorite bands!!! US Metal the way it should sound!!
SPLIT HEAVEN (Mexico):
From the land of tequila, sombreros and cactus, these five pistoleros will make you scream with blasting heavy metal! Created in 2005, with three albums released (Psycho Samurai, Street Law and The Devil’s Bandit), Split Heaven is one of the most solid bands in the actual heavy metal scene. They combine thundering speed, '80s metal riffs, battle solos and high-pitched vocals to create a vicious monster ready to bite, infect and spread the word of Heavy Metal.
The band have performed several gigs around the world in tours and festivals like Mario's Metal Meeting 6, Wacken Open Air 2009, Brazilian Tour 2010, Swordbrothers Festival / European Tour 2012, Vive Latino 2013 and in Mexico with some of the most important bands in the worldwide metal scene, becoming one of the strongest heavy metal bands in their country. The band released their third album on November 22nd 2013 via German label Pure Legend Records.
JAVELIN (Germany):
This German Prog/Power Metal band JAVELIN was formed way back in 1982. And believe it or not, their first release was fifteen years later, when the band released their first EP "Seasons Of Grey" in 1997. And yes, twelve years later, 2009, the band's second EP "Dark Broken Land" was released. Both EP's were released by the band themselves. In October of 2013 the band eventually released their full length debut album "Fragments Of The Inner Shadow" on Pure Underground Records. This is high quality stuff, with awesome high vocals, great songwriting and excellent musicianship. Well, the band has in Carsten Hille a real good singer with an awesome voice. He's in fact a mixture of singers such as Michael Kiske, Bruce Dickinson and Geoff Tate.
Check them out!
POWERIZED (The Netherlands):
Meet Powerized, the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Nick Holleman (also singer in Vicious Rumors). Influenced by the likes of Edguy, Powerwolf and Avantasia, these six musicians from Breda (NL) bring you Power Metal with progressive influences. They have been playing extensively throughout the Netherlands and the rest of Europe. In doing so, Powerized have gained a formidable live reputation. From full-on headbanging extravaganza to breathtakingly beautiful songs, Powerized shows are captivating from start to finish. With intense clean vocals and an overwhelming melodic metal sound, they have just released their debut EP titled ‘My Creed’, redefining Power Metal as we know it. MMM's personal favorite band in The Netherlands!!!

MMM Presents an evening of oldschool retro-thrash!:
2 July 2014 @ Little Devil, Tilburg, The Netherlands
CONDITION CRITICAL (USA):
Blowing in on a violent wind that will change the metal scene everywhere and forever are the new masters of old school thrash "Condition Critical". Established in late 2010, and after a few adjustments in their lineup, the four piece thrash band "Condition Critical" was brought to life. "Condition Critical" broke through front lines of the metal scene in northern and southern New Jersey in early 2011 and has never looked back. The band, a four piece fronted by vocalist and guitarist Alonso Maguino with members Ryan Donato on drums, bassist Mike Dreher, and guitarist Tony Barhoum, create a whirlwind of chaos and flowing brutality that can be found nowhere else on earth. With influences like "Slayer", "Demolition Hammer", "Overkill", "Vio-lence", "Testament", "Exodus" and "Kreator". Condition Critical brings all this and more to the table. Check these guys out; you will ne surprised!!!!
GAME OVER (Italy):
Starting out in the summer/autumn 2008, the band was founded by three Heavy Metal maniacs with the intention to play an energetic and strong Thrash Metal inspired by the big names of the genre. So these three young guys – Reno on Bass Guitar, Ziro and Sanso on Guitars – started writing their own songs joining forces with Med on drums. After the release of a self titled Demo, an EP called “Heavy Damage” and a lot of gigs all around Northern and Central Italy, the band signed a label deal with My Graveyard Productions in 2011 and at the end of the summer entered the Simone Mularoni’s (DGM, Empyrios) Domination Studio to record their first LP.
“For Humanity”has been released in January 2012 via My Graveyard Productions.
During the promotion of “For Humanity”, Game Over hitted Austria, Netherlands, Belgium and Germany playing at the mighty Headbangers Open Air Festival 2013 alongside bands such as Overkill, Metal Church, Vicious Rumors and a lot of other legendary ones.
In February 2014 the band entered the Domination Studio to record its second album that will be released this 2014.
ULTRA VIOLENCE (Italy):
Ultra-Violence is a young Italian Thrash Metal band formed around Turin in the autumn of 2009 for an idea of Loris Castiglia (vocals/rhythm guitar) and Andrea Vacchiotti (lead guitar). The line-up is completed in a short time by Roberto ''Robba'' Dimasi (bass) and Simone Verre (drums).
HAMMERED (NL):
Thrash Punk from Brabant/Utrecht, their first demo is out. They like being wasted and getting high, and the party doesn't end until they die! (in their own words...)

MMM Presents: RAVEN (UK) & Support
6 June 2014 @ Little Devil, Tilburg, The Netherlands
For the 3rd time; MMM presents you the masters of atlethic rock; RAVEN!!!!
Last years show was completely sold out so dont wait that long this time!!!!!
According to the pages of the various metal media, the labels "LEGENDARY," "INNOVATIVE," "TRUE ORIGINALS," as well as "LUNATICS!” have been rightfully pinned upon RAVEN over the years. In a music scene filled by clones nurtured with a cookie-cutter mentality, the unique personality, power and humor of the three band members has always shone through. The crazed vocals & bass playing of John Gallagher, the full frontal guitar assault of brother, Mark Gallagher, and the punishing polyrhythmic pounding of drummer, Joe Hasselvander, all combine to form a sonic battering ram unique in rock! From the well documented early days as NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) frontrunners, RAVEN’s albums ROCK UNTIL YOU DROP, WIPED OUT and ALL FOR ONE virtually invented both the speed metal and power metal genres - during the trailblazing USA tours of the 80's introducing the States to “Athletic rock” as well as giving opening acts like Metallica and Anthrax their first tours, through the doldrums of the late 80's/early 90's when a grunge obsessed media wrote off so many acts - RAVEN has consistently proved to be both survivors par excellence and in a genre of grim imitation - shown that they are "the real thing". Where so many of their contemporaries have either faded creatively or become parodies of themselves, RAVEN have consistently pushed the envelope while retaining their unique sound and attack – both in the studio & in their true element, onstage!Following a forced layoff through half of the last decade due to Mark Gallagher’s long recuperation from a serious accident where Mark’s legs were crushed after a wall collapsed on the musician, the band have fought back with a number of European festival appearances, a UK tour in 2008 and a triumphant jaunt to Japan in 2009. In 2010, the band unleashed the best album they’ve done in many years, “Walk Through Fire” – quite simply, was the real deal – the right songs, the right sound and the right feel – that was guaranteed to rip yer head off! Raven are here to finally set to reclaim the title that is rightfully theirs – “the wildest band in the f**kin’ world!”

3 May 2014
MMM Presents an evening of the finest oldschool undergroundmetal;
28 May 2014 @ Little Devil, Tilburg, The Netherlands (the evening before Ascension Day (Hemelvaart))
AXXION (Canada):
Axxion features Alison Thunderland on drums and Sir Shred on guitars, both formerly from Skull Fist and this picks up exactly where they left off with their previous band. Dirty Devon Kerr of little known fellow Toronto heroes Midnight Malice has been poached for vocals on this, and he provides more strong evidence to suggesting a link between tight trousers and glass-shattering histrionic vocals. The rest falls into place exactly as you would imagine- a healthy dose of Accept and Anvil cut with a bit of Acid and hopped up on a cocktail of speed, lite beer and nitrous oxide. Add in the mandatory touches of Tokyo Blade and Diamond Head and this ticks all the boxes for modern screeching Speed Metal. If you are enamoured with any of the other identikit bands in this wave, then you will love this. In fact, if this is your bag you have probably bought this already.
NIGHT DEMON (USA):
Night Demon is a young trio from California who literally fell out of the sky from now where. They’ve gone from just creating a bandcamp page to being invited to play KIT festival in Europe before their debut EP is even officially out! Fans that love old heavy metal from the N.W.O.B.H.M. are going to absolutely love this! Angel Witch, Raven, Iron Maiden, all that British styled heavy metal that started it all is feathered throughout their music. Think back to that time period and if you add harder punch to it all, that’s what Night Demon is all about. It’s a heavier/harder/grittier version of those bands with an American spice on top of it all.
CHAINSAW (NL):
Chainsaw was formed in 1996, and off to a Spinal Tap like existence. Including mental illness, disappearance, electrocution, a car crash, collapsed lung, disastrous surgery, a smashed hand, and even a stroke. But even though they have been hammered down time and time again they have proven to be indestructible, as they are still going strong. For over a decade and a half with great determination Chainsaw have been pushing their vile music down peoples throats, not only those privileged few who are already into Metal but also those who’ve never heard Metal before or are not probable to ever experience an explosive Heavy Metal show. This ‘missionary work’ has brought their violent and bloody show to multi-cultural festivals, musical high-tea, tropical islands and children’s parties alike. “The entire world has a right to know Chainsaw and we feel that if we acquaint people with the whole metal genre we greatly enhance their quality of life”. Chainsaw plays old school Thrash / Speed Metal

DEADHEAD:
Is a Dutch thrash metal band from the Dutch city Kampen. The band was formed in 1989 by the four original members Tom van Dijk (bass, vocals), Robbie Woning (guitar), Ronnie van der Wey (guitar), and Hans Spijker (drums).Their mission was to become the most intensive and brutal thrash-metal band Europe ever had seen. They were influenced by classic thrash metal bands like Dark Angel, Kreator and Sadus. Since its debut record in 1991, the band has released five albums and one 10 inch. Even in the beginning of their career Dead Head never cared about trends, they wanted top play aggressive fast thrash metal and made sure everyone heard it. Passing around 100% pure thrash flyers to promote the band wasn’t the most ingenious marketing plan to promote the band when every aggressive metalfan only had interest in the newest thing in metal called “death metal”. But ignoring that fact and doing the best they could at their live shows they even garnered a real death metal reputation. In April 2012 DeadHead announced the returning of the original frontman Tom van Dijk.
The band is only doing a few shows a year so grab this chance to see the best thrashband The Netherlands ever delivered!!! You wont regret it!!
PENTACLE:
Chained within the mythical realms of primeaval black/death metal, so graciously unveiled in the early 80's by hallowed cults such as Venom, Hellhammer, Celtic Frost, Possessed, Messiah, Destruction, Necrovore, Bathory, Treblinka, Slaughter (CAN) and Necrophagia, Pentacle's sepulchral tribute, to this unforgotten legacy, started back in winter '89/'90 when Mike (guitar), Wannes (bass/vocals) and Marc (drums) joined forces...
Entangled in the growing urge to inspire their own roaring metal quest, Pentacle soon developed a highly ambitious conspiracy; forging twisting death metal rhythms and haunting doom chords in the archaic traditions of the crafts. The band did gigs with bands as Obituary, Katatonia, Immortal, Cannibal Corpse, Emperor, Hades Almighty, Marduk, Desaster and so on......
After so many years of active service, a lot of releases and some line-up changes, the musical concept of the band is still firmly rooted in the golden ‘80’s, though remains far from being a mere copycat of the forefathers of extreme Metal. Don’t make the mistake to file Pentacle under the current retro-trend. They started performing their music when only a selected (and loyal) audience still was interested in this honest style of music. Others sailed the seas of successive trends. Pentacle didn’t. Together with an obscure, yet individual lyrical approach, the band always worked hard to create a personal style, based on ancient Metal values. Remember this when listening to Pentacle’s sho on MMM8!
PREMATORY:
PREMATORY is a young band from Belgium founded in 2007 by Joeri Trescinski (bass), Joeri Van De Schoot (guitar) and Thomas Minnen (drums). After adding Simon Duson (vocals) to the group in late 2008, their first full line up was completed and several live shows were booked. The band would work on their material during the following two years. The studio sessions for the first album were booked shortly after adding Jonas Van De Sande (guitar) to the line up.
Their debut studio release 'Suiciety' came out near the end of 2010. It was well received by the online press and resulted in support slots for bands such as WARBRINGER, F.K.U. and DR. LIVING DEAD. The band grew out to be a well known act in the Belgian underground scene and the first shows in neighboring countries such as Germany and The Netherlands were confirmed as well.Work on the second album started shortly after releasing 'Suiciety'. Stronger and more professional songs were created and the bar was set much higher for the next release. A line up switch occurred halfway during the writing process. Thomas Minnen was forced to quit the band and a new drummer, Thomas Wuyts, was brought in to continue his work. At the end of 2012, PREMATORY felt that they were ready to record the second release. They contacted Sven Janssens (ex-ABORTED) from the Red Left Hand studio to handle the producing and mixing. The album was recorded in February 2013 and was sent to Chris "Zeuss" Harris (SUFFOCATION, SOULFLY, HATEBREED, ...) from the Planet Z Studio to master the album. 'Corrupting Influence' marks the band's evolution to a more unique mature sound and takes the listener on an aggressive journey about global, social and political problems in modern society.
VILLAINY:
Villainy was created late 2010 by good friends Reinier, Jeroen and Remco. Three musicfans from the South of the Netherlands. They play any kind of metal they like. In 2011 they recorded their first demo, followed by their second demo in 2012. The band lately released their debut album; Villainy I. The music of the band can be described as a mix of bands like Celtic Frost, Death but there are also several bay area thrash elements recognizable in their songs. Check these youngsters out!!!
MANIAC FORCES:
Maniac Forces is a thrash metal band from Horst, The Netherlands, and they play old school Thrash in the style of Kreator, Exodus and DRI, but they are also influenced by bands like GangGreen, Minor Threat, Black Sabbath (yes, even Sabbath), Misfits, etc. Be on time to witness these upcoming thrashers!!!

PICTURE:
If you say Holland and the first Dutch metal band, which image comes to mind then? Right! We’re talking about PICTURE! And they’re back stronger and more motivated than ever. Picture was the very first Dutch hardrock band with a "record deal". With a history of 7 released albums world-wide and extensive tours throughout Europe with a.o. AC/DC, Saxon, Ted Nugent, Rose Tattoo and April Wine, everybody understands the past of Picture. Back in 1979 (30 years ago) the story of Picture began. Classic songs like Heavy Metal Ears, Diamond dreamer, Bombers and Eternal Dark (covered later by Swedish metal giants Hammerfall) and highly energetic live performances made Picture a very successful band. Picture paved the way for all other successful Dutch hardrock bands that followed in their footsteps soon afterwards. In many countries in the world Picture is treated as a cult band and when the long anticipated reunion finally happened at the beginning of 2008, many invitations to play on big (foreign) festivals followed soon. A limited edition live CD was being recorded and from December 2008 until January 2009 the band retreated in the StarSound Studios in Utrecht (Holland) to record their studio album "Old Dogs New Tricks". October 1st 2009, 30 years after the release of their first album, a new Picture studio album “Old Dogs New Tricks” is officially released. In 2012 the band released their latest effort in "Warhorse". this is again a typical Picture album with a variety of heavy and dynamic songs. The powerful and raw voice of Pete Lovell shows to its full advantage with this kind of heavy music. Add the brilliantly composed songs anno 2012 to this and you will agree that this is Picture in their historically best line-up ever. Be prepared to be blown away…
MARTYR:
was formed in 1982 and debuted with the very interesting For The Future in 1985, mixing technical riffing with a pre-thrash base. Certainly an atypical sound for a Dutch band (or for that matter any metal band at that time), the album won a decent amount of critical and fan approval. Their second album, Darkness At Times End, was released a year later, but the lack of promotion, coupled with the band's inability to find a large audience for their unconvential style, spelled the end of the band, the group breaking up in 1987. The guys got together for a reunion show in October of 2001, and buoyed by its success, did some more reunion shows in 2005 and is presently active, they even delivered the well received "Circle of 8"album lately on Metal Blade Records. At the moment the band is busy recording the follow up to the "Circle of 8" album! Martyr is one of the finest live bands and a garantee for fun and quality music. Check them out!

MMM Presents a night of PURE TRUE METAL!!!
14 February @ Little Devil, Tilburg, The Netherlands
Doors; 19:30
Entrance € 5,--
Just send an email to majesty@mariosmetalmania.com or to info@littledevil.nl
Put on your leather jackets and raise those fists in the air – because pure steel will greet you on stage soon!!!
With their comeback album “Thunder rider”, MAJESTY proved in January 2013 that they still stand for finest teutonic true metal and unmatched anthems galore! No wonder the album entered the German charts at #55. A quality level that “Banners high” seems to surpass with ease: said metal manifesto will be unleashed on the masses December 20th, 2013, and fans can look forward to epic songs, glorious vocals and incredible shredding! “Banners high” is also the first-ever concept album in the band`s history and tells a fantasy story penned by MAJESTY singer Tarek „MS“ Maghary himself.
Since their founding in 2001, Hungarian guardians of steel WISDOM love to combine epic spirit with pure-bred power metal that gives acts like BLIND GUARDIAN a run for its money: after the release of »Judas« and a tour with genre giants SABATON, it`s now time to defend WISDOM`s new standing in the scene with a fresh bunch of powerful anthems! Should be a piece of cake with their mighty third album »Marching for liberty«…
With a name like STORMWARRIOR you`re basically bound to play pure heavy metal! The Hamburg-based band sticks to that and thrilled us with anthems such as “Heavy Metal Fire” or “Defenders of Metal”. In recent years though, STORMWARRIOR started to include viking metal elements that showed quite strongly on albums like “Heading Northe” (2008). “Thunder & steel” is set for a release in February 2014.

VENGEANCE:
Do you hate hardrock ???
Then I guess you have never seen VENGEANCE !!!!!
Brimming with confidence and justifiable pride Dutch rock band Vengeance have announced the release of their latest album PIECE OF CAKE: “People can expect what to my ears is the best Vengeance album to this date,” declares guitarist Timo Somers, “the songs are a nice blend of old school Vengeance (think Arabia) and some more modern sounding songs. This time the instrumental side of the band is really outspoken, it features a lot of nice intros, solos and instrumental pieces. And to top it off, Leon sounds better than ever.”
It’s a full thirty years ago that Leon Goewie founded the Dutch rock band Vengeance in the early 1980s; thirty years in which the band went through variably successful times and which had Goewie himself experience the usual highs and lows of life as a musician. Yet: he never lost his inherent optimism nor his basic enthusiasm for Vengeance. At the same time Goewie, whose uniquely expressive voice can be picked out among thousands, cannot deny that his band has developed: “After thirty years in this business, you should mature at least a little,” he grins knowingly, “so in that respect PIECE OF CAKE is slightly more serious than most of our previous releases – but of course only to an extent where we don’t miss out on the fun of it all.” The new album will be out on 28 October2013 on Steamhammer/SPV. The album’s sensational cast is just as spectacular as the new material: alongside original vocalist Leon Goewie, PIECE OF CAKE features drummer John Emmen (JEB), guitarist Timo Somers (Delain), and bassist Barend Courbois. “More than ever before, this is a band which consists of friends,” comments Goewie.
Goewie: “We can hardly wait to play numbers from PIECE OF CAKE live at last, along with our classics. I promise that we will pull out all the stops 100% every night!
REBELSTAR:
The band lately released their new album "II". Check them out!
It's time for REBELSTAR!

DISQUIET:
The Dutch melodic thrash outfit Disquiet was restablished in Utrecht 2008. Disquiet combines Bay Area oriented thrash metal mixed with melodic European
elements. Imagine a mix of Testament with Arch Enemy, moderated with some modern metalcore influences.
January 2012, the band launches its first full-length album ‘Scars Of Undying Grief’. A product of perseverance with an in-your-face production by Tommie Bonajo (Blind Sight), demonstrates Disquiet’s approach to modern thrashmetal. ‘Disquiet’s debut album is better than many of the established order’ according Aardschok Magazine. Check them out!!
PROJECT PAIN:
A Thrash Metal band from The Netherlands. They released their debut CD '' I Have Sinned '' on 23 June 2012.
"I Have Sinned" is a full lenght 10 track CD and is recorded and produced at the F.A. studio by Guido den Hoed and has 3 guest musicians on it. Project Pain is founded in January of 2011 by 2 friends, Bauke and Guido’s first metal band was “Killer Force”. Later on they started “Minas Tirith” After a lot of different musicians the band split up and Bauke quit with music. Guido then started “Virtual” and made a cd ‘’Language of Machines’’. After 3 years they decided to end the band.
After an 8 years break in January 2011 Guido and Bauke started a new band called Project Pain and after several try outs with different musicians, Stephan joined on bass and in oktober 2012 and to complete the band in May 2013 Sander joined at the drums and in September Niels joined as our new solo guitarist. Check these guys also out! MMM reviewer Kees Schijven described the band as the "Dutch Exodus"!!! So you know what to expect!
VARISCYTHE:
Variscythe started out around 2009 as a group of friends from The Hague, who came together every week to jam out and eventually write songs and grow into a complete metal formation. With this line-up, they recorded their self-entitled EP which was released in early 2011.
They play some kind of technical thrash with a few minor death elements in their music. In the following two years, Variscythe played around 70 gigs, including radioshows and festivals, such as Duveltjesrock, Westerpop and Plein Open. They also did a large amount of club shows including The Cave, Baroeg, De Supermarkt, De Bosuil and many more. Variscythe is, and always will be growing and evolving into a more true form of itself.
